DUBLIN, PA
Just a short drive from the Philadelphia-Camden metro area, you can leave the urban life behind you, and step into the farmers’ world. Awake peacefully in one of our comfortable bed and breakfast inns. After a wonderful meal, set out on your adventure, discovering rural life. Produce—including pumpkins, strawberries, raspberries, pyeaches, or cantaloupes depending on the season—can be found at the Glenn Wismer or the Lapinski Farms. Penn View Farm includes produce, as well as frozen beef, local ice cream, bulk foods, and hormone free milk. If you like your grapes in a bottle as well as in a basket, then never fear! The Farm Market and Winery Driving Tour will have something for you as well. Visit the Mennonite Heritage Center, the Valley Forge Historical Society Museum, Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, and even the Discovery Center of Science & Technology. This town has really grown since its official founding in 1912. Dublin Pennsylvania began, though, as early as 1681 and gained its name in 1760. Two competing inns were built alongside one another, and over the years came under the ownership of one person. The two buildings were merged, and became a “Double Inn”—which evolved into “Dublin.” Why not come and visit and learn so much more about this quaint little town. |
