The Covered Bridges of Bucks County

As you drive the scenic country roads, you’ll be sure to notice our Covered Bridges. Bucks County is home to 12 historic covered bridges. No matter what time of year, the covered bridge tour highlights the county’s breathtaking beauty. Take a leisurely cruise along scenic, winding roads.  Discover some of the beautiful, rustic barns that pepper the county’s rolling hills and back roads.

Bucks County Shopping

‘Shop till you drop,” at the eclectic collection of shopping nearby. Explore quaint villages with independent shops. Browse antique malls and flea markets. There are factory outlets, specialty boutiques and art galleries as well.  There are gourmet food shops, artisan crafts, fine art galleries, outdoor farmers markets and more. You may run out of time before you run out of places to visit.

Bucks County Recreation

Depending on your desired mode of transportation, there are many ways to experience Bucks!  Float along the Delaware River on a raft or in a tube. Soar through the sky in a Hot Air Balloon overlooking Bucks County & the Delaware River region.  Relax on a steam-train as you travel through the rolling hills and valleys of historic Bucks and Hunterdon Counties. Experience firsthand the sights, sounds and romance of the Golden Era of Steam Railroading.  Visitors can hike or bike along gravel tree-lined towpaths or at one of the areas spectacular parks or charming nature centers.

Bucks County’s culture is filled with Annual Festivals such as Winterfest, Shad Fest and Celebrate Pride.  Local artists, live indoor and open-air theater are also part of the cultural experience of the area. Pennsylvania Wine Country

Raise your glass at one of Bucks & Hunterdon County’s wonderful wineries, including nine on the Bucks County Wine Trail and six on the Hunterdon Wine Trail.  Beer-lovers, we’ve got you covered too with some great local brew-pubs throughout the Delaware Valley.  The wineries host Wine Trails seasonally along with Wine Festivals that feature local wine, live music and great food all surrounded by picturesque views of the vineyards.
